Game Boy Color - Mod Service

Upgrade your Game Boy Color with an AMOLED or IPS display, a new shell, improved batteries, and optional USB-C charging.

We work exclusively with high quality parts and use mod kids from: HISPEEDIDO and FUNNYPLAYING.

How does it work?

Step 1: Order the shipping service (€5.95)

Place your order and pay only the shipping costs. You will receive a shipping label to send your Game Boy to us.

Step 2: Discuss your wishes

After receiving your Game Boy, we will contact you to discuss the desired mods.

You can choose from:

FUNNYPLAYING kit (from €76):

• IPS LCD screen
• A shell in the color of your choice
• buttons and rubbers in the color of your choice
• Battery mod (+ € 20.-)

HISPEEDIDO kit (from €70):

• OLED screen
• A shell in the color of your choice with matching buttons and rubbers
  
• Battery mod (+ € 20.-)

Step 3: We get to work

We mod your Game Boy with care and precision. The basic service costs €70, excluding the parts that are settled at purchase price. Many parts are in stock, but because we are a small webshop, not everything is always immediately available. In that case, parts have to be ordered, assume a processing time of 2 weeks or less.

Step 4: Payment & Returns

Once your Game Boy is ready, we will send you an invoice with the total amount and payment link. After that we will send your renewed Game Boy back in a nice new retro packaging.

Pick up is also possible in consultation.
